This website operates under the name of the Genius Loci platform. Send privacy questions, deletion requests and newsletter unsubscribe requests to loosovavila@gmail.com.
Newsletter subscriptions
When you subscribe, we store your email address, language, subscription status, and the time of signup and consent in Google Firebase Firestore. These details support newsletters about the platform and its houses. Repeat submissions do not create another record. Signing up is voluntary; you can unsubscribe at any time by emailing the address above.
Cookies and visitor analytics
We store your cookie choice in your browser so you do not need to choose on every visit. Google Analytics loads only after you accept analytics cookies. We also measure house-profile views, including the house name and page language. Analytics does not load if you reject cookies. You can change your choice using the button below; the new choice takes effect after the page reloads.
Maps and external links
Google provides the maps. Loading a map may send technical information such as your IP address and browser information to Google. Links to house websites, social networks and media lead to services with their own privacy policies.
Accounts and profile management
Staff sign-in uses Google and Firebase Authentication. We store account information such as names, emails and assigned roles to control access to website management. Viewing public house profiles does not require signing in.
Retention and access
Subscriber details are retained to manage subscriptions until unsubscribe or a deletion request. Authorised platform staff and technical providers, principally Google Firebase, have access where needed. We do not sell personal data. Technical providers may process data outside the European Economic Area under their terms and data protection mechanisms.
Your rights
Subject to applicable data protection rules, you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability and object to processing. You can withdraw consent without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing. You may also complain to the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection.
